The julien cours

Find an excerpt from the discoveries of our treasure hunt:

Until around 1970, the Julien Cours and the Plaine were the places of privileged trade in fruits and vegetables in Marseille. It is now the headquarters of the artists, musicians and hipsters of Marseille. It is also the biggest district dedicated to street art in France, since as you have already seen, its walls are carpeted with graffs and decorative frescos by local artists.

You can get a strong smell of the good odor of the unicorn soap factory which still makes its soaps in centenary old machines (the rolling mill with its granite rollers dates from 1902). She is a member of the AFSM (Marseille Soap Manufacturers Association).

Walk along the square on the right and stop a few moments to enjoy the trees and water points that refresh this place.

Pistez marseille is a treasure hunt in the streets of Marseille. Like a treasure hunt, it’s up to you to observe the solutions of the helpers, to discover the scraps, riddles and other games put down to find the culprit. The route takes you on a tour of some of Marseille’s most sublime districts. The route starts from the centre of Marseille, at 4 rue Barthelemy. Accessible by car in 30min from Cassis, Allauch or Cabries. 10min walk from the SNCF Saint-Charles station.
